The most popular time of day for ceremonies? That would be sunset and it's easy to see why!
What's the shortest planning time we have ever had for a wedding?
4 hours! A couple walked in at lunchtime and wanted to get married that very evening. Whilst the service was lovely we usually look forward to getting to know you as we plan the service first!
How about the couple from the most Northerly location booking a wedding with us? We just booked a couple from Arviat which is in the province of Nunavut waaaaaaay north of Canada.
Arviat ( 2,060) formerly called Eskimo Point until 1 June 1989 is a predominantly Inuit hamlet located on the western shore of Hudson Bay in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut, Canada. Arviat ("place of the bowhead whale") is derived from the Inuktitut word arviq meaning "Bowhead Whale".
11-11-11 was a popular date for getting married. "The numbers rhyme with one husband, one wife and one soul in Chinese and it signifies a marriage that would last a lifetime"
2012 holds significant days too - what about starting the festive season off with a 12-12-12 wedding? It's also a leap year so ladies have every reason to propose to their man!
Did you know? Pink stargazers are said to symbolize romance, wealth and prosperity. It's hard to believe it was only developed as recently as 1978 - a cross between an Asiatic lily and an Oriental lily.
